JAMES KIM, acting lead pastor James has been many places in the course of his life - forty states and 22 different countries. He spent his high school years at a boarding school in Connecticut, college in Vermont and seminary at Gordon-Conwell in Massachusetts. But after 12 years away, NYC is home again. James is married to Carol, who he fell in love with while in seminary and now they together live in a culinary mecca called Flushing. James is happy when: eating at hole in the wall joints; playing in the great outdoors of NYC (read ultimate); making Carol laugh.

 | CHRISTINA WANG, qkids pastor From small town Carmel, NY to Vassar College and on to the big city- Christina thought she was destined for a life as an M.D., but all along God was pulling her in a different direction. After a semester in medical school, becoming a professional nanny, and spending three months abroad as a missionary in Fiji, Christina has finally "come home" to her calling as a children's pastor. When she is not busy caring for and teaching her little ones as a nanny and pastor, Christina's favorite activity is spending time with her wonderful husband John, whom she met at Vassar and married in 2007. Close on the heels of this favorite are spending time giggling with her girlfriends and having people into her home for delicious Italian dinners. |

PETER HWANG, pastoral intern After having worked in corporate America for almost seven years, Peter decided to answer the call and pursue his true passion by enrolling in Westminster Theological Seminary. He is married to Jessica, his sweetheart whom he met at Queenswest. A black belt in judo, he loves watching UFC and trying submission holds on his untrained friends while chowing down on good Chinese food. |
