The Spirit of the LORD God is upon me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor;
he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom to the captive,
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor,
and the day of vengeance of our God;
to comfort all who mourn...
that they may be called oaks of righteousness...
and they shall renovate the ruined cities.

call

As a community, we sense a call to join God in renovating (rebirthing) the broken - broken hearts, families, and communities. The hope we have for the world is the hope we have for our own broken lives and church - the healing, reconciling and gracious love of Jesus. We practice community with the truth of our own brokenness, seeking God's heart in prayer and worship, sharing resources, honoring the gifts of the Spirit, and learning to forgive one another. We believe this community to be good news.
